This price was achieved in the auction Russian Pictures at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Alexandra Exter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition Puriste in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 1,022,500.00 (€ 1,277,564.83).
