Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Figures on a Lawn by Alexandra Exter was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2021. The price achieved of GBP 100,800.00 (€ 117,458.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandra Exter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition Puriste in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 1,022,500.00 (€ 1,277,564.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Three Figures on a Lawn von Alexandra Exter kam im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 100.800,00 (€ 117.458,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexandra Exter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition Puriste im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.022.500,00 (€ 1.277.564,83).
