This artwork by Alexandra Exter achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in December 2020. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Design for The Sports and Touring Ballet Revue sold for GBP 3,528.00 (€ 3,941.09) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandra Exter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition Puriste in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 1,022,500.00 (€ 1,277,564.83).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Alexandra Exter erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit Design for The Sports and Touring Ballet Revue für GBP 3.528,00 (€ 3.941,09) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexandra Exter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition Puriste im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.022.500,00 (€ 1.277.564,83).
