The work 'Quatrains D'Omar Khayyam' Calligraphic Manuscript On Paper By Manuel Pelaez, Hand-Illuminated Borders And Miniatures By Alexandra Exter, Paris, 1936 by Alexandra Exter was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2017. The price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,121.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandra Exter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition Puriste in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 1,022,500.00 (€ 1,277,564.83).
