In November 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Group Of Female Musicians by Alexandra Exter. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 62,500.00 (€ 70,946.80), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandra Exter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition Puriste in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 1,022,500.00 (€ 1,277,564.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Group Of Female Musicians von Alexandra Exter zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 70.946,80) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexandra Exter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition Puriste im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.022.500,00 (€ 1.277.564,83).
