Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Dancing Nudes by Alexandra Exter was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2017. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 78,041.48). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandra Exter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition Puriste in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 1,022,500.00 (€ 1,277,564.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Dancing Nudes von Alexandra Exter kam im November 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 78.041,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexandra Exter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition Puriste im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.022.500,00 (€ 1.277.564,83).
