Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Costume Design For A Male Servant From Don Juan by Alexandra Exter. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,351.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandra Exter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition Puriste in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 1,022,500.00 (€ 1,277,564.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Costume Design For A Male Servant From Don Juan von Alexandra Exter zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.351,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexandra Exter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition Puriste im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.022.500,00 (€ 1.277.564,83).
