The result of GBP 500.00 (€ 563.09) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander Shevchuk - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lily Pond, which sold at auction in January 2008 for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,675.68).
