Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nude on a bed by Alexander Shevchuk was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in May 2011. The price achieved of GBP 500.00 (€ 571.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander Shevchuk - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lily Pond, which sold at auction in January 2008 for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,675.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nude on a bed von Alexander Shevchuk wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 500,00 (€ 571,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexander Shevchuk mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lily Pond beobachtet, die im Januar 2008 für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.675,68) versteigert wurde.
