Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Classical Maidens Playing By The Pool by Alexander Shevchuk. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,593.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Alexander Shevchuk have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2008 the work Lily Pond was auctioned for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,675.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Classical Maidens Playing By The Pool von Alexander Shevchuk zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.593,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Alexander Shevchuk konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Januar 2008 die Arbeit Lily Pond für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.675,68) versteigert.
