Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Awaiting His Return by Alexander Shevchuk was sold in the British, Continental & Russian Pictures auction at Christies in London in December 2007. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,528.68). Other works by Alexander Shevchuk have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,675.68) in January 2008 for the work Lily Pond.
