This artwork by Alexander Mann achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in July 2017. In the Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art auction, the work Portrait Of Mademoiselle B. sold for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 30,685.78) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander Mann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Gleaners, which sold at auction in October 2002 for GBP 71,700.00 (€ 113,416.76).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Alexander Mann erzielte im Juli 2017 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art wurde die Arbeit Portrait Of Mademoiselle B. für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 30.685,78) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexander Mann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Gleaners beobachtet, die im Oktober 2002 für GBP 71.700,00 (€ 113.416,76) versteigert wurde.
