Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pasture with Mountain View by Alexander Helwig Wyant was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,234.51) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Helwig Wyant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hudson River View in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 84,000.00 (€ 62,439.60).

Die Arbeit Pasture with Mountain View von Alexander Helwig Wyant kam im März 2010 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.234,51) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Helwig Wyant erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hudson River View im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 84.000,00 (€ 62.439,60).
