The work Landscape (Untitled) 18 3/4 x 25 3/8 in. (47.6 x 64.5 cm.) by Alexander Helwig Wyant was sold in the American Art auction at Bonhams in New York in May last year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,564.44), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Helwig Wyant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hudson River View in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 84,000.00 (€ 62,439.60).

Die Arbeit Landscape (Untitled) 18 3/4 x 25 3/8 in. (47.6 x 64.5 cm.) von Alexander Helwig Wyant wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion American Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.564,44) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Helwig Wyant erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hudson River View im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 84.000,00 (€ 62.439,60).
