Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Keene Valley by Alexander Helwig Wyant was sold in the American Art Online auction at Christies in New York in November 2018. It changed hands for a price of USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,071.71) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Helwig Wyant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hudson River View in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 84,000.00 (€ 62,439.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Keene Valley von Alexander Helwig Wyant wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion American Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.071,71) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Helwig Wyant erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hudson River View im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 84.000,00 (€ 62.439,60).
