Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Lamplight by Alexander Goudie. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 687.50 (€ 876.32). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Goudie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Fruit And Flowers By Lamplight in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 21,600.00 (€ 32,120.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lamplight von Alexander Goudie zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 687,50 (€ 876,32) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Goudie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Fruit And Flowers By Lamplight im August 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.600,00 (€ 32.120,57).
