A top price for Alexander Brook - as previously expected
The work Ned by Alexander Brook was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2005. The price achieved of USD 2,280.00 (€ 1,758.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Ned is the most expensive artwork by Alexander Brook that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Ned von Alexander Brook kam im März 2005 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.280,00 (€ 1.758,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Ned das teuerste Kunstwerk von Alexander Brook, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
