Auction result well in line with expectations
In August last year Bonhams in New York held the auction PhotographsSummer Cut, which included the work Barbara by Alex Prager. The price achieved of USD 12,750.00 (€ 12,667.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alex Prager have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Crowd #2 (Emma) in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 67,192.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion PhotographsSummer Cut durch, in der auch die Arbeit Barbara von Alex Prager zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.750,00 (€ 12.667,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alex Prager auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Crowd #2 (Emma) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 67.192,26).
