Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Lamentation by Alessandro Turchi was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2012. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,499.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alessandro Turchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Communion of the Magdalene in June last year with an auction result of USD 327,600.00 (€ 312,923.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Lamentation von Alessandro Turchi kam im Dezember 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.499,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alessandro Turchi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Communion of the Magdalene im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 327.600,00 (€ 312.923,87).
