In January 2012 Christies in New York held the auction Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolors, which included the work The Abduction of Helen by Alessandro Turchi. The »bidding war« ended at USD 40,000.00 (€ 30,644.30), 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alessandro Turchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Communion of the Magdalene in June last year with an auction result of USD 327,600.00 (€ 312,923.87).

Im Januar 2012 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolors durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Abduction of Helen von Alessandro Turchi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 30.644,30) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alessandro Turchi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Communion of the Magdalene im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 327.600,00 (€ 312.923,87).
