This artwork by Alessandro Turchi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in January 2015. In the Old Master Drawings auction, the work Study Of A Standing Nude, Probably A St Sebastian sold for USD 22,500.00 (€ 19,929.14) - well above the upper estimate of USD 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alessandro Turchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Communion of the Magdalene in June last year with an auction result of USD 327,600.00 (€ 312,923.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alessandro Turchi erzielte im Januar 2015 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Drawings wurde die Arbeit Study Of A Standing Nude, Probably A St Sebastian für USD 22.500,00 (€ 19.929,14) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alessandro Turchi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Communion of the Magdalene im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 327.600,00 (€ 312.923,87).
