Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Study For A Lamentation by Alessandro Turchi was sold in the Old Master & British Drawings including French Masterworks from the Dormeuil Collection auction at Sothebys in London in July 2013. The result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,570.70) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alessandro Turchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Communion of the Magdalene in June last year with an auction result of USD 327,600.00 (€ 312,923.87).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Study For A Lamentation von Alessandro Turchi wurde im Juli 2013 in der Auktion Old Master & British Drawings including French Masterworks from the Dormeuil Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.570,70) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alessandro Turchi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Communion of the Magdalene im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 327.600,00 (€ 312.923,87).
