In the Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours auction, the work A Young General (Alexander?) Showing Clemency To Two Prisoners sold for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,431.81) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alessandro Turchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Communion of the Magdalene in June last year with an auction result of USD 327,600.00 (€ 312,923.87).

Showing Clemency To Two Prisoners für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 5.431,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alessandro Turchi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Communion of the Magdalene im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 327.600,00 (€ 312.923,87).
