This artwork by Alessandro Sani achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in February 2007. In the The House Sale auction, the work The tasting sold for USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,535.15) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Alessandro Sani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grandfather's gift in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 20,315.00 (€ 30,234.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alessandro Sani erzielte im Februar 2007 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The House Sale wurde die Arbeit The tasting für USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.535,15) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alessandro Sani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Grandfather's gift im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.315,00 (€ 30.234,80).
