A top price for Alessandro Sani - as previously expected
In June 2004 Christies in London held the auction 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART, which included the work Grandfather's gift by Alessandro Sani. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 20,315.00 (€ 30,234.80) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Grandfather's gift is the most expensive artwork by Alessandro Sani that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juni 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Grandfather's gift von Alessandro Sani zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 20.315,00 (€ 30.234,80) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Grandfather's gift das teuerste Kunstwerk von Alessandro Sani, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
