Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ricevimento by Alessandro Sani was sold in the XIXth Century Paintings and Sculptures auction at Sothebys in Milan in December 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 5,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Alessandro Sani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grandfather's gift in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 20,315.00 (€ 30,234.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ricevimento von Alessandro Sani wurde im Dezember 2008 in der Auktion XIXth Century Paintings and Sculptures bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 5.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alessandro Sani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Grandfather's gift im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.315,00 (€ 30.234,80).
