In April 2014 Il Ponte held the auction XIX and XX Century Sculptures and Paintings | Furniture and Old Master Paintings, which included the work Venezia. Canale con gondole by Alessandro Milesi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,800.00 40% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alessandro Milesi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scaricatore di Sale, 1909 in June 2005 with an auction result of EUR 21,700.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Im April 2014 führte Il Ponte die Auktion XIX and XX Century Sculptures and Paintings | Furniture and Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Venezia. Canale con gondole von Alessandro Milesi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.800,00 und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alessandro Milesi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scaricatore di Sale, 1909 im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.700,00.
