The work Studio Per Sospiri by Alessandro Milesi was sold in the 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture auction at Sothebys in Milan in June 2007. The price achieved of EUR 18,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Alessandro Milesi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2005 the work Scaricatore di Sale, 1909 was auctioned for EUR 21,700.00.
