Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2010 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art, which included the work On the Venetian lagoon by Alessandro Milesi. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,899.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alessandro Milesi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scaricatore di Sale, 1909 in June 2005 with an auction result of EUR 21,700.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit On the Venetian lagoon von Alessandro Milesi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.899,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alessandro Milesi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scaricatore di Sale, 1909 im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.700,00.
