Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Collector, Dealer, Connoisseur: The Vision of Richard L. Feigen, which included the work Christ Carrying the Cross by Alessandro Allori. The price achieved of USD 113,400.00 (€ 98,164.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alessandro Allori have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Holy Family With The Infant Saint John The Baptist in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 557,600.00 (€ 828,164.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Collector, Dealer, Connoisseur: The Vision of Richard L. Feigen durch, in der auch die Arbeit Christ Carrying the Cross von Alessandro Allori zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 113.400,00 (€ 98.164,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alessandro Allori auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Holy Family With The Infant Saint John The Baptist im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 557.600,00 (€ 828.164,71).
