Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work The Archer by Alexandra Shchekotikhina-Pototskaya for USD 2,813.00 (€ 2,069.30). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandra Shchekotikhina-Pototskaya achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Joueur d'accordéon in November 2020 with an auction result of GBP 100,000.00 (€ 111,633.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Archer von Alexandra Shchekotikhina-Pototskaya für USD 2.813,00 (€ 2.069,30) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexandra Shchekotikhina-Pototskaya erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Joueur d'accordéon im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 100.000,00 (€ 111.633,75).
