In November 2007 Christies in London held the auction Important Russian Pictures, which included the work Rhinos (illustrated); Study of a male nude; Study of a female nude; and Two studies of a standing female nude (illustrated) by Aleksandr Evgen'evich Iakovlev. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 12,500.00 (€ 17,503.23), 39% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aleksandr Evgen'evich Iakovlev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Vasilii Shukhaev In His Studio in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 2,820,000.00 (€ 4,184,738.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Im November 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rhinos (illustrated); Study of a male nude; Study of a female nude; and Two studies of a standing female nude (illustrated) von Aleksandr Evgen'evich Iakovlev zur Versteigerung kam.
