It achieved a price of GBP 14,900.00 (€ 20,863.85), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 66%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aleksandr Evgen'evich Iakovlev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Vasilii Shukhaev In His Studio in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 2,820,000.00 (€ 4,184,738.17).

Die Arbeit Portrait of an Afghan (illustrated); Three studies of female nudes (one illustrated) von Aleksandr Evgen'evich Iakovlev kam im November 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 14.900,00 (€ 20.863,85) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 66%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aleksandr Evgen'evich Iakovlev erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Vasilii Shukhaev In His Studio im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.820.000,00 (€ 4.184.738,17).
