Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Winged words by Alecos Fassianos was auctioned at Bonhams in June this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 8,320.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alecos Fassianos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek the Return in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 169,250.00 (€ 197,582.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Winged words von Alecos Fassianos kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 8.320,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alecos Fassianos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek the Return im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 169.250,00 (€ 197.582,04).
