This price was achieved in the auction Post War and Contemporary Art 1990 To Now at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Albrecht Schnider have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ohne Titel (Köpfe) in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 59,500.00.
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Untitled (Mirror) von Albrecht Schnider war einem Käufer im November 2012 GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.549,05) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art 1990 To Now bei Christies in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albrecht Schnider auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Köpfe) im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 59.500,00.
