The work Zwei Aquarelle by Albertus Jonas Brandt was auctioned at VAN HAM in November 2014. Here, the estimate of EUR 1,800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,064.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albertus Jonas Brandt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A plover, a longbill and a mistle-thrush hanging from a nail, with a red butterfly, which sold at auction in November 2012 for EUR 5,000.00.
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Zwei Aquarelle von Albertus Jonas Brandt kam im November 2014 bei VAN HAM zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von EUR 1.800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.064,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Albertus Jonas Brandt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A plover, a longbill and a mistle-thrush hanging from a nail, with a red butterfly beobachtet, die im November 2012 für EUR 5.000,00 versteigert wurde.
