Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art Sale, which included the work Vita Dell'Uomo by Alberto Savinio. The price achieved of EUR 15,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 13,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alberto Savinio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Croix marine in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 692,750.00 (€ 781,208.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vita Dell'Uomo von Alberto Savinio zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 15.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 13.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alberto Savinio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Croix marine im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 692.750,00 (€ 781.208,28).
