Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Conquête Du Désert by Alberto Savinio was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in November 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 85,000.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Alberto Savinio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Croix marine in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 692,750.00 (€ 781,208.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Conquête Du Désert von Alberto Savinio kam im November 2018 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 85.000,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alberto Savinio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Croix marine im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 692.750,00 (€ 781.208,28).
