Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Venetian backwater by Alberto Prosdocimi was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2008. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,675.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alberto Prosdocimi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Venezia, Il Ponte Di Rialto, which sold at auction in June 2001 for EUR 6,125.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Venetian backwater von Alberto Prosdocimi kam im Januar 2008 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.675,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Alberto Prosdocimi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Venezia, Il Ponte Di Rialto beobachtet, die im Juni 2001 für EUR 6.125,00 versteigert wurde.
