Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Siesta by Alberto Morrocco for GBP 2,520.00 (€ 2,813.17). This price was achieved in the auction Scottish Art at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alberto Morrocco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grande Natura Morta Napolitana in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 98,400.00 (€ 146,327.02).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Siesta von Alberto Morrocco für GBP 2.520,00 (€ 2.813,17) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Scottish Art bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alberto Morrocco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grande Natura Morta Napolitana im August 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 98.400,00 (€ 146.327,02).
