Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Bonhams in Brussels held the auction Belgian and contemporary art, which included the work Composition abstraite by Alberto Magnelli. The price achieved of EUR 12,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alberto Magnelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Toilette in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 916,000.00 (€ 1,359,297.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Brüssel die Auktion Belgian and contemporary art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition abstraite von Alberto Magnelli zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.800,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alberto Magnelli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Toilette im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 916.000,00 (€ 1.359.297,93).
