Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Il piccolo cielo by Alberto Gianquinto was worth EUR 3,000.00 to a buyer in May last year. This price was achieved in the auction Arte moderna e contemporanea at Il Ponte and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 800.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alberto Gianquinto - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pastorale, which sold at auction in November last year for EUR 6,500.00.

Die Arbeit Il piccolo cielo von Alberto Gianquinto war einem Käufer im Mai letzten Jahres EUR 3.000,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea bei Il Ponte erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Alberto Gianquinto mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pastorale beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für EUR 6.500,00 versteigert wurde.
