In December 2016 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Alberto Gianquinto. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,300.00 65% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alberto Gianquinto; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Pastorale sold at auction in November last year with the realized price of EUR 6,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 65 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2016 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alberto Gianquinto zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.300,00 und damit 65% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Alberto Gianquinto; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Pastorale im November letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 6.500,00.
