Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Sulla Sedia A Sdraio - In Blue - Cervia by Alberto Ferrero was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in November 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 3,750.00. Other works by Alberto Ferrero have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2010 by the work Beneficienza at EUR 5,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Sulla Sedia A Sdraio - In Blue - Cervia von Alberto Ferrero im November 2010 bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 3.750,00 den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Alberto Ferrero wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2010 die Arbeit Beneficienza mit EUR 5.000,00.
