Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Glicini al cielo by Alberto Ferrero was sold in the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction at Christies in Rome in June 2004. It achieved a price of EUR 2,232.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alberto Ferrero - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Beneficienza, which sold at auction in November 2010 for EUR 5,000.00.

Die Arbeit Glicini al cielo von Alberto Ferrero wurde im Juni 2004 in der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO bei Christies in Rom versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.232,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Alberto Ferrero mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Beneficienza beobachtet, die im November 2010 für EUR 5.000,00 versteigert wurde.
