A top price for Albert Rutherston
In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Bather by Albert Rutherston. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,297.64), 20% above the upper estimate. With this result, Bather is even the most expensive work of art by Albert Rutherston that we have observed at auctions so far.
