In November this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work "Les toits rouges" (Strandvägen, Stockholm) by Albert Marquet. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 620,000.00 (€ 54,451.78), 55% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Marquet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Plage De Sainte-Adresse in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,217,250.00 (€ 1,538,644.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 55 % übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Les toits rouges" (Strandvägen, Stockholm) von Albert Marquet zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 620.000,00 (€ 54.451,78) und damit 55% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Marquet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Plage De Sainte-Adresse im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.217.250,00 (€ 1.538.644,81).
