In May 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Peruvian A Young Beauty by Albert Lynch. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,580.65), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Lynch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Springtime, which sold at auction in January 2008 for GBP 44,900.00 (€ 60,190.38).

Im Mai 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peruvian A Young Beauty von Albert Lynch zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 24.580,65) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Albert Lynch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Springtime beobachtet, die im Januar 2008 für GBP 44.900,00 (€ 60.190,38) versteigert wurde.
