The »bidding war« ended at GBP 17,500.00 (€ 21,558.22), 17% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Lynch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Springtime, which sold at auction in January 2008 for GBP 44,900.00 (€ 60,190.38).

Die Arbeit A young beauty von Albert Lynch wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art including Orientalist Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 21.558,22) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Albert Lynch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Springtime beobachtet, die im Januar 2008 für GBP 44.900,00 (€ 60.190,38) versteigert wurde.
