Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19th Century EuropeanArt, which included the work A Debate In The Library by Albert Joseph Franke. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Albert Joseph Franke have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work German the Barber'S Shop in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 28,750.00 (€ 34,356.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th Century EuropeanArt durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Debate In The Library von Albert Joseph Franke zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Joseph Franke auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit German the Barber'S Shop im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.750,00 (€ 34.356,21).
